This is a fairly decent hand grater. I don't think it lives up the the hype in the product listing, but it performs well. I found the handle very comfortable - soft to the touch, and easy to grip even with wet hands. The grater was sharp and made quick work of carrots, cheese and potatoes. There's a padded loop at the base to protect counters from scratches, and it comes with a plastic guard to protect you from scratches when fishing for it in the cluttered kitchen odds and ends drawer (or is it just me who has one of those!). Good construction. Nothing fancy, but generally solid. I expect it will last quite a while with normal use. Very pleased to see it was made in the USA.
What I don't care for at all is the holder. According to the listing, the holder sells separately, but one was included in my shipment. In theory it's a good idea - something to hold items so you don't include some finger in whatever you're grating. But, in actual practice, it's not all that well designed. It's hard to snap on or off - ironically, although it is designed to protect your fingers, it's easy to nick your fingers when struggling to get it to come off for cleaning! Items you grate tend to get caught between the grater and the holder, making it cumbersome to use.
While the grater is an OK value, the holder is not - skip that.
