I was very scared about putting my china in the microwave and dishwasher, but honestly, I've done both to my china many times. Because it's so easy to clean, you could use it every day. The pattern is very simple and elegant so it looks great at a special holiday dinner or a more casual meal. This is the only china I've been able to find anywhere that will go in the dishwasher and microwave safely and is still reasonably priced.
