I bought this dough scraper for use with making bread.However I now also use it to slice foods and to scoop the contents from the cutting board into a pan for cooking.I also use it to sweep crumbs off the counter or table.It is hard plastic and stainless steel so it will outlast me.It is cheap enough to buy even if you are not sure you would use it often.This dough scraper was ground flat as it arrived, but if it weren't it would be easy to grind it flat and sharpen it if desired.I chose this model due to combination of low cost and simple design.If I lost it I would buy another one.
