Kitchen Aid Cookware: Nopro 2.5 Quart Sauce Pot Review

I first purchased the 8-cup multi-pot for cooking rice, and I was so impressed with it that I bought this second pot.They are extremely sturdy and well-made, and they are beautiful to look at.At first, the sides of the pot surprised me because they seemed to be thinner than I expected.However, my ill-usage hasn't bent or dinged them at all, and they hold and distribute heat extremely well.

The lid is not tight-fitting, and just rests on the top, so there is some sputtering when you're cooking things with a high liquid content, and if you cook rice in them, they do discolor a bit in a rice pattern at the bottom.It doesn't bother me or affect the cooking results, so I haven't bothered to try to figure out the best way to get it out.The pot was well-documented, so the answer is likely in the pamphlet that came with it.Shamefully, I haven't bothered to look yet.

All in all, nothing detracts from how much I love this cookware and how great I feel using it.Eventually, I will get everything on the list, and its affordability makes it an outstanding value.As another reviewer said, water boils fast and well in this pot, so I'm looking forward to purchasing a stockpot for pasta.
