This is the second egg poacher we have had through the years, the first had plastic cups that always seemed to cause the eggs to stick, no matter how much oil you used. The poacher has six individual stainless cups with teflon interiors that make eggs slide out easily. You can also lift them all out at the same time by grabbing the center piece with tongs or an oven mit. The shape of the cups makes for even and complete cooking of the eggs to any desired degree of hard or softness. Cooked eggs will just about slide out when you tip the cups, but a little coaxing with a small plastic or rubber spatula may be neeeded. Clean-up is a snap making the whole process simple and easy.
