An Ulu knife was traditionally used by Inuit people (aka Eskimo) of Northern Canada and Alaska as an all purpose blade. In the modern kitchen, it can be used as you would a mezzaluna. The blades are either one-piece full tang or half-tang, made from hardened and tempered high-carbon stainless steel from Solingen, Germany. The handles are either double riveted or triple riveted with brass rivets.
